This past month on Street Tweets, we had the pleasure of speaking with Solveig Rathenow and Julius Köhler. Here's a brief overview:

Guests On the Podcast:

Guest: Solveig Rathenow, Head of the Economics department at Business Insider

Episode: Women In Finance | Business Insider | Current State of Affairs | Inclusive & Equal Environment | Street Tweets Event | IPO Stories

🎙From The Interview:

  1. If you’re a recruiter and have a spot to fill, look actively for women who might fit in the role and encourage them to apply. That doesn’t mean excluding men, but to attract and encourage more women.

  2. The ranking lists in finance magazines among women tend to look the same since women in finance are few. But Solveig and her team has a solution for promoting more women. They bring out 25 women repeatedly in their magazine “Zukunftsmacherinnen” who are either: self-employed, in corporation, in startups or in medium-sized companies.

And by promoting the hidden champions they don’t only top the ranking lists, they also get an opening to a whole network.

Guest: Julius Köhler, Co-founder & Managing Director at Sennder

Episode: From Startup to Scale-Up - Sennder Fundraising Journey | Acquisitions | Fundraising History | Street Tweets Event Preview | Italian Bank Tax News

🎙From the interview:

  1. The logistics industry has been characterised by email, phone and sometimes even by fax, but over the last years the industry has become more efficient by using technology. Sennder has focused on growing with tech, and have for example built direct integrations to seamlessly receive a transport order from a customer.

  2. In a competitive landscape, defining what differentiates your company helps you with fundraising, but also building friendships and partnerships with your company’s investors.

An effective call to action focuses on how the reader will benefit from clicking on the link.

🌈Performance statistics: With creator mode LinkedIn provides tracking of post impressions, followers, profile viewers and search appearances. Tracking your statistics helps you to analyse what content resonates and what content approach you should adjust.
